Replacement brush

My friend gave me his sweeper; hence it was used but still worked fairly well till after I picked up the broken glass from a mirror I broke along side my bed. It did a great job. However, the sharp edges from the glass took their toll on the bristles apart from the fact they were already worn. The new ones work great. Thanks

Sweeper brush refills works great

Ordered a pair of refills for my too-old sweeper as the original brush roller was long overdue for a change. It works perfectly, but the only difficulty I had was figuring out how to remove the old roller. The sweeper is a well-designed blend of lightweight metal and plastic components and I was afraid of breaking it since I've broken other things in the past. Finally, I contacted customer service. Thanks very much to "April" for her help! I am responded with detailed instructions, which I am sharing here. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - INSTRUCTIONS FROM APRIL, CSR (thank you very much, April!) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - There is a thin metal pole that protrudes out of both sides of the sweeper. This pole comes up and around the sweeper base, and connects to the thicker pole that you use to push the sweeper back and forth. That thin metal pole is to be pulled out of the side of the sweeper - it does not matter which side - and this will release the bristle brush for replacing. Replace the brush, and re insert the pole to lock it in place. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - My added notes: don't use too much force or you might risk breaking or bending the thin metal pole. Use a firm, but slow and strong pull until the thin metal pole comes out from one side, then you can easily maneuver the second side out of the sweeper base. The old roller brush can now be easily removed. I suggest cleaning out the base a little as needed (my sweeper was very dusty and gritty), then put the new refill in place, firmly, but gently insert one side of the thin metal pole; make sure it also inserts into the refill's hole on that side, too! Then maneuver the second end of the thin metal pole, making sure the refill's second hole is also aligned. Test the new roller by gently rolling it so it rolls easily and you're all set!
