Almost as good as the old ones
Years ago I was a faithful Casabella gloves person. Then, when I had to struggle to put the gloves on and off, which was strictly to some technology changes Casabella implemented, I searched for a brand that would work for me as well as the "old" Casabella. None did.
I was delighted when Casabella contacted me with a great news, - "The good, old Casabella gloves are back!"
They are back indeed, and they are good but it is not quite as easy to slip in and out of them.
Did the company loose its "good old" recipe for making its famous dependable gloves?
Waterblock gloves
I love these gloves! They last far longer than Playtex gloves and the other brands. I do a lot of cleaning with soap and stain removers and bleach, so I need good gloves. I buy 6 at a time so I never run out.
I miss more colors
I had the green pair of Casabella gloves and they were great, thicker than the standard and usable for hard cleaning work outside and inside. They were very durable and they last for very long time, I think I bought them years ago...When we can have them back in the store? hopefully with more colors!!
Great gloves and brand, best on the market.

Pink waterblock gloves
The small size fits snuggly but is very flexible, not restrictive. LIke them very much.
Gloves fit again!!
As s long time customer, I was one of the people greatly disappointed when they changed the gloves a year or two ago, as the large would barely fit on my hands. I kept using my old ones until they finally fell apart, then came on here to see if they had updated the sizing. I took a chance and ordered a new pair, and they fit! Hallelujah! They are a bit shorter (I laid them side by side for comparison), but the width is back in the hand and wrist again. Thanks for listening to your customer’s feedback and addressing the issue.
Gloves Rock!
Great gloves, large gives enough room for everyone. Lining is effective! Have washed for Hours over the last week in HOT water and hands/gloves are DRY! This version seems to be great like earlier version before one batch of bad ones. They have gone back to a superior product that matches their name!
"Set of 2" means 2 pairs = 4 gloves
When placing my order I wasn't sure whether "set of 2" meant one pair of gloves, or a set of 2 pairs. It is the latter. Luckily I'm pleased with these gloves as I now have 4 pairs.
The flocked lining of this revived, third version is not quite as cozy flannel-like as the original version was, but the true-to-size fit and the fold-down cuff are vastly improved over the inferior second generation.
Now if someone could explain what the difference is between the pink style and the light blue style!
watch out for retailers selling the inferior version
Very happy with this "third generation" version which is very much like the original in sizing, flocked lining, stay-put cuff. I was annoyed to see that my local Bed Bath & Beyond is selling the "second generation" version. I almost bought a pair, but tried on the size M and immediately could tell it was too small and the lining didn't slide or absorb. So I'm buying them directly from Casabella instead.
Best gloves!
If you are looking for the BEST glove for dishes as well as house work, go no further! These are the BEST! I use everyday and 1 pair lasts for months. I keep a stock at all times.
Just as promised!
These gloves are great. I found them to fit well and perform as promised. They slip on easily and when I need to remove them and put them back on during a dish-washing session, they still slide on easily; not like other gloves which often allow my hands to become damp and become damp inside and I have to struggle to get them on. I think they also do protect against the temperature of the water. I've tried them in hot water, and my hands do not seem to feel the true temperature of the water. And the cuffs.........really do keep the water from soaking sleeves or running up my arm. I like these gloves; bought a pair for my daughter, too.
